I'm departing 12/31 and land at my destination 1/2.

It really depends on the flight crew. Some captians or flight attendents may start a countdown or say " Happy New Year!" There really isn't any standard put out by the airlines. The saftey of the flight is always a major concern, so they couldn't make it like a "party plane" for the night. Usually it's not anything big.

I watched a movie, had a verbal substitute with my cat and placed an better blanket on my mattress for both one human beings. I stay to inform the tale my personal (except for Katy my cat) so no huge get mutually at this handle!!! CJ

I went to India with Aeroflot (Russian airline with very bad past record) and as it hit midnight, the pilot came on the tanoy and said. ''Happy New Year.... Good luck'' that was great for the nerves!

not really, I flew to the bahamas new years eve and the flight attendants sang to us when we landed. it was cute!
