Find out where she's registered. You can look online at places like Bed, Bath, & Beyond or Target. They both have a webpage where you can search for people who have registries with them.
Checks/cash also work, but of course are impersonal.
If your boss makes pretty good money, maybe something more personal and thoughtful will work.
*Buy a giftcard at a nice local restaurant and tell them the next "first" date is on you.
*Buy a gift certificate for another kind of date. Maybe something adventurous like indoor rock climbing or kayaking.
*Buy a bottle of nice wine, if that's what she drinks
*Buy a first-year marriage tips book
Find out more info- like are they moving into a new place, where they're going on their honeymoon- and you'll probably be better inspired.

There's lots of things you can give them. Just ask yourself what would I want to get if I was getting married. Maybe some silverware, china, matching towels and robes with the First letter of their last name on them, maybe some dinnerware. Just go to where they are registered and check out what they want. You know you don't have to buy it where it's registered. SO go to it and get them something nice and enjoy the wedding. HEY, HEY why didn't I think of it. You know get them a necklace that comes in two pieces, you know like one chain will have one half a heart and the other the other half of the heart. And have it say something nice. Like My heart is only half complete when your not around but full when your next to me.

People are usually registered at department stores or shops. See if you can ask where she is registered. If that fails, gift certificates are always a welcomed gift. Since it is your boss, you may want to stay on the more conservative side if you do end up deciding to buy a physical gift that is not on her registry.

Pots, pans, curtains, or household essentials. Also, household decorations and the like. Marriage is the union of two people and the start of a new life together, so give them something to compliment that. You could even get his and hers towel sets or have their names put on something like a plate, airbrushing, ornament for a car's reer view mirror, mug, etc.

See if she is registered somewhere, and get something from the list. If you don't see anything that you want to get her there, get her a gift card to the store, that way they can get something they didn't recieve or something that they didn't even think about.

i don't think you should give your boss cash...
maybe a gift certificate they can both use later on like for dinner!
or something nice for the home like a vase or a nice serving bowl...start with the registry!

anything useful inside the house is a good wedding gift, i suggest you look in their wedding registry first so you won't duplicate any on the list. it can be a home appliance, furniture or anything that will help them reminisce their wedding like photo albums and such...
sometimes cash can be handy or either gift cheques from department stores which they can use for further purchases...

Check her gift registry if she has one. If not, what about some nice candle sticks or a pretty wedding album to store all her photos?

ask if she has a wedding list of gifts she wants at any major dept. store; if not a gift card for a nice dept store works great too
