ummm.... talk to him. I don't think you should try to impress him with your intelligence by talking about nano technology or something like that.. but talking to him about a topic he enjoys might be a good place to start.
His being "not entirely stupid" shouldn't have anything to do with talking to him if you like him.

i would learn his interests and talk to him about that but try not to use big word seriously he might feel stupid or that you think your better than him because your smart

I probably wouldn' t bother with him. I've dated dumb guys and smart guys and the dumb guys get kind of irritating. I don't really like being a lot smarter than my guy.
