I have a house that is stucco, and I have been trying to hang lights all day. I am using double pointed staples, (they are not like normal staples) but they just keep popping out. Maybe from the weight of the lights. Any suggestions on what to use to hang the lights????

Try using a hot glue gun to glue plastic hooks or something else to it. It should work but probably not good for the stucco if you keep doing it.

I also have a stucco house - kinda southwest adobe looking. I am having the hardest time coming up with SOMETHING to use to hang them with. Did you find anything yet? I'm thinking about looking into a large wreath holder maybe? Not sure if they make one as big as I need it to latch over the side of the building.

3M makes sticky clips that can later be peeled off. Depending on their size they can hold 1-5 lbs each. I got a pack at Target where they have all sorts of sizes and shapes. You do have to let them "set" for an hour or more to ensure they are really set. Your local Home Depot or Lowes should have something similar that will work as long as there are somewhat flat spots 1" by 1" for good adhesion.

you may take small weights and tie fishing line to them. Take the different end of the line and loosely tie it to the string of lighting fixtures. particularly forming a counter weight device. The weights on the in the balcony, fishing line over the balcony, lighting fixtures on the different edge. A weight each couple of ft will carry the lighting fixtures up good. you do no longer could stress approximately eliminating any sticky adhesive and can carry the lighting fixtures off easily.

Try using suction cup hangers. They have them at any hardware store. I use them to hang my wreath on my front door windor. You just moisten them and they stick to anything.
