Hey girl, I'm in a similar situation (5'7", 150-160 lbs, 22 years old). I'm definitely not fat, in fact I've been told that I'm very thin. My problem is my thighs are big because I've been a softball catcher for 6 years. Plus, big butts and boobs run in my family. Trust me, 120 pounds is too thin. I know this is so cliche, but muscle weighs more than fat. I was 130 at one point and I looked like I was anorexic. Just do exercise that you enjoy. I currently do Yoga Booty Ballet, which targets the butt and abs. It's pretty fun too, especially the YBB Live workouts. The internet address is below.

At 5'7", 150 - 160 is probably not overweight. Most definitely, 120 would be underweight. I'm 5'3", and I have been told that the recommended weight for someone my size is between 110 and 120.
For the record, all of us have a pot belly after we eat.
What is truly most important is being healthy. Eat right, and exercise on a regular basis.
In particular, if you aren't happy with your body, then you should be working out to improve the parts you don't like. It sounds as if you're young, so I will not recommend dieting...you need all of the nutrients in your food to finish growing. But exercising - particularly the parts of your body that you don't like - will help you have a good, healthy shape.
We're all different, and it's very likely that the parts you don't like will be the parts that your boyfriend likes the most. My daughter (poor thing) inherited what we call "birthing hips"...these are not the Gap-jeans wearing type of hips, but instead the type that meant she was shopping in the women's department when she was 14. Recently, she asked her fiance what he would change about her, if he could...He said, "If your hips and butt could be just a little bigger, that would be great!". Honestly, be healthy, and love who you are, simply for the fact that it's who you are!

Firstly, you are not overweight. Secondly, aiming for 120lb is very unrealistic. If you really feel you want to lose weight, aim to lose 10lb or so and see how you feel. There is nothing wrong with having bigs hips either, in fact the lower your waist/hip ratio, the healthier you are. This means big hips and a small waist, ie pear shape, is the most healthy body type. HTH : )

everyone has a belly after they eat. I think its good like most other guys that you have a bigger than average butt. As for if you're fat, if your weight doesnt affect the size of your breasts, meaning making them bigger, then no you're not fat. You would be fat at 170 to 180 pounds.
