It would be fine, but I wouldn't do it if I were you. Kids shouldn't be exposed to tv and video games this young. It's no wonder the percent of kids with ADD and ADHD has gone up..not to mention how obese our country is getting. Why not get her some toys that will get her imagination going instead of having her toys tell her what to do? Play food, baby dolls, building blocks. Those would be much better for her, and teach her just as much--if not more.

I have heard reviews that the Vsmile is good at first but will stop working in about 3 months. My daughter is 3 as well and she will be getting the leapster.

my daughter has a v smile and its great she learns a lot I don't know anything about the other one but v smile is a good game system
