Ok my mom sent me to the poultry place to buy chicken and as i left my building and was walking down the block there was a gang of 10 black thuggy looking boys and one of the called me a sexy little slu*t.
When I came back from the store, I took another way but saw them in front of my building. As I got closer, they sarted fanning their selves with their shirts...I'm scared..
I'm 14, 5'3'
they look about 17 to 21

No, I wouldn't call the police for this. The police cannot do anything for such a report. Calling you a sl*t is not illegal -- perhaps immoral but not illegal. Nothing can be done to them.
I would, however, tell your mom about this incident. Tell her that you are scared and uncomfortable. She should be able to help. Like another answerer said, you are at a computer right now, so you're probably fine.
Just remeber that it was probably a bunch of losers...consider the source. Just ignore them and remember that there are much better people in the world than them. Like you said, they're thugs. Don't worry....you should be fine.

I feel you should notify the police. You never can be too careful and by notifying the authorities (even if you feel that no crime has happened as yet) you will (No 1) feel better that someone else knows of your predicament and (N0 2) should anything ever happen the future, you can always refer back to when you originally notified the police. I have just returned to UK from South Africa where crime is rife - always be rather over-safe than sorry!! Good luck.

I would tell your mom then she could call the cops to let them know there has been a problem. Just for the record. They can not do anything because they did not harm you. Sorry that is the way it is. Dumb I know but at least they may patrol by your home at times and the guys may leave. Good Luck and be careful!!!

If they haven't done anything to make you fear for your safety, don't call. There is nothing wrong with 10 black thuggy guys hanging out. Keep your distance and walk with a purpose if your are scared or even wait for an adult to walk with you.

Report it. Even if the cops can't actually do anything about it. at least there will be a record of the problem at that location. Also, because there will be a record of a problem, they can put that area on their list to frequent on their patrols. If more people call in a complaint like this they can actively do something about this. This could be the the tip of the iceberg in terms of bigger, more dangerous problems in the area. (IE: gangs, drugs, prostitution.) The more people who call, the better idea and understanding they will have of the problem. Good Luck and Please Be Careful.

Call the police. No, they can't do anything, but there will be a record of the incident.
Also ask the officer for more frequent patrols.

If I was you I would certainly call the police. I have been attacked by a gang of black guys when I went to NY a year ago. I know where you are coming from. PLEASE, DO NOT END UP LIKE ME! Unfortunately for me, I had a miscarrige due to the assult.

Unfortunately, you can't report it to the police. These guys haven't done anything illegal. Sadly, calling you names isn't against the law.
However, I would HIGHLY recommend that you tell your mother that you don't feel safe walking there alone, and let her know why. She should be the first to stand up for you, and protect you from these jerks.

You dont say if your mom is home with you but if you are really worried call the police. The least they could do is drive by and see whats happening in front of your building.
