Its completley possible as i fall for someone more on a mental level than a physical one but everyone has an element of shallowness so i would never confess my feelings until id seen the full picture

To the first part of your question I have read a biography of a girl that really "touched my soul".
To the second question it could be more like falling in love with an idea, but I do know someone who is completely happy having married someone "sight unseen" because they are blind...

wow, this is the first question i've come across that really makes me think.I guess not even cyberspace could contain such a powerful feeling. But I think there are some things that you can’t really know about a person over the computer. Like you can’t really prove your love. My boyfriend has known me for about four years, and when he first met me I was going through a really hard time. Over a course of time he got to know me and somewhere in there he realized he loved me, but he never said “I love you” instead he proved it; he tried to make me smile. Every day he would go out of his way to be extra nice to me and the first time he saw me smile, he literally jumped up in the air, which even got a laugh out of me. To this day he is still very kind to me and a smile is the most special thing we have because it reminds us how much we care about each other. Can’t exactly do that over email! Good luck with ur girl, though. I really hope it works!

I sure would. I'm not shallow, but I do admit that some appearances can be a turn off,but by not seeing them 1st and learning about them and falling in love with the person on the inside it can transform that not so great outside into something I just could have looked over.

It depends. Are you a superficial person? There are a lot of really nice people out there. Physical attraction does have something to do with your feelings for a person. It shouldn't matter, but a lot of times that is the first thing people think about.

If thats the case, what are you falling in love with. Its not a person cos you dont know them. Its not a body .cos you havent seen it and its not a personality cos you cant judge that unless you know the person
you could end up getting hurt

Over time with plenty of communication and having loads in common yeah it can happen. But with a heavy dose of caution until you meet in person. Then revaluate your feeling before commiting to them.

ive never done that so i dont know...i suppose you could as long as you never actually saw them...as long as you dont see someone whose personality you fall in love with it would be fine but if you ever met them and you weren't physically attracted it could all go wrong for you...;0)

No way would I let that happen. If you don't spend quality time with someone and really get to know them how can you know they are who they say they are?
