If you are creative, you can come up with a meaningful gift without spending a lot of money. You could get photos of the two of you and make a collage. You could take glamour shots of yourself and give him one in a nice frame. You must know what he likes by now -- golf? football? fishing? cars? Get creative and get him something he will appreciate. And tell him that he is worth a million dollars to you!

Well i think for the most part you have a general idea of what he likes...you can always take the safe route and get him an outfit take a look through his closet :not while he's there: and look at his sizes and get him a nice outfit and you can get him that cd he's been dying for...just be creative..if he is not into the gift giving thing just treat him to a dinner and a movie..i hoped i helped

It's easy when someone just comes out and gives you a "list" of what they want. The best gifts are those the recipient doesn't know they are getting. For next year, pick up on the subtle clues they are sending BEFORE Christmas, you know, like when he says...
"Whoaaaaa..... look how COOOOOOOOOLLLLLL that Skateboard is!!!!!!!" when he sees one in a window at the mall. It is these very subtle clues he sends out (but won't tell you if he feels you are just going to go out and buy one) that maybe you can pick up on. Give it a try.

I am the same way, I hate asking for money or gifts from people. It makes me feel weak. but at the same time i love getting them! He will (or should) be happy with almost anything you pick. but don't not get him something. what are his hobbies? get him something that relates. If he is plain hard to buy for, try getting him a pocket knife. Almost all guys like knives, I dont know why but i know its true.

He sounds like a sweet guy. Does he have a favorite place to shop or eat at? Get him a gift card from $10-20 if you want to. Does he have any hobbies like fishing or sports? Does he have a particular brand of clothing he likes to wear? A nice watch? Hope I gave you some ideas and good luck to you.

Just really think hard about what he likes and needs. Does he need a watch? Or does he wear jewerly? Does he need clothes? Maybe some new shoes? Just look at things that he needs, that way wheneverhe puts it on or uses it he will think of you and know that you got it just for him. Or maybe just get something sentimental.

Don't buy him a darn thing, but don't let him make you feel bad when he says he did not mean what he said. Then you can jack-slap him up side the head. In other words, that's an attitude adjustment.

Buy something that you believe is worthy of him, that will show him how you feel. Remember that if he asked you the same question you might have some difficulty answering.
Also work on validating him to improve his self-esteem...

Hhhmm its kinda hard. You can talk to him and find out what he is into currently and generally would like to have. You can play game questions like "Hey if you have 100 bucks right now to spend what would you get for yourself?"
That's probably what I would do.

A small box of condoms and a twelve pack of cheap beer is about $10!
