The basketball practices are really intense and i wanted to know if doing crunches and push-ups and squats will help me not lose all of my energy all at once

if you want stamina you need to do cardio excersise this will help you go a lot longer dont confuse strength and stamina

It all depends on how you lift. If you want endurance, you should do less weight and more reps at a brisk pace. That really gets the heart pumpin' and it helps with getting stronger, but obviously not as much as more weight with less reps.
