i seen many vampire movies and they are always frightened by the cross and i waonder why? if i were a vampire and i seen some bloody guy on a stick it would make me even more hungrier

Anything to do with vampires is satanic. Satan and all his demons were defeated at the cross of Calvary by the death of Jesus Christ. If you read the Gospels you'll not only see the power of Christ over demons -a power given to all who have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour- but you'll also see that every time Jesus confronted the demons, regardless of how many were present at one time, the demons knew without a doubt that Jesus Christ was God the Son and were terrified of Him, knowing that some day they too will meet Him in judgement and that He was far more powerful than they.

Hmmmm....this is more of a mythology question than a religion and spirituality question. Essentially, because vampires are the living dead, and spawned from the Devil, the sight of a cross or a crucifix would cause them pain, because it is a representation of the power of God.

There is real power in what Jesus did on the cross.
Colossians 2 14 having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. 15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.

Because it is the mind of those who made up the tales of such creatures, they had Catholic ties and they profess that idols and cross' can protect and ward off. But I tell you that only Jesus Christ can protect you not some ornament.

For people that know yes, vampires are of the devil as is witch craft and other things. for those that don't believe in God, and believe in the devil, The devil believes in God and is afraid of God, in the Bible it says, i believe it's in Matthew Luke or John, Jesus says," In My Name, you will be given the power to cast out devils."
