There were thousands upon thousands of Crucifixions in Roman times, not all Christians, it was thought so little of that crucified folk were filled with wax and used to illuminate the arenas during the games. So Christians don't have a monopoly on the subject.
I cant say I have 'favourite' part of any of those acts, but I do have an 'interest' in religion, one 'interest' is that Muslims don't believe that Christ died on the cross, they do believe he was a prophet and they respect that.
The other 'interest' I have of course is how can Nations and ordinary folk fight and kill each other over such a load of insignificant BS?

the bit where the dove eats the magic rainbow and witnesses the sea parting in two to reveal the 5000 loaves of fish and the burning bush containing the talking snake. Man those mushrooms were strong.

I am a christian and my favorite part is that He did it for me and He did it for you too.
By the way I wouldn't make a mockery
13 When you cry out for help,
let your collection of idols save you!
The wind will carry all of them off,
a mere breath will blow them away.
But the man who makes me his refuge
will inherit the land
and possess my holy mountain."
For His Fame,
-HD

When he asks God why he is doing this to him and questions God. This is my favorite part b/c it shows that Jesus is not really more than a man, yet, believers tend to skim over that part.

Jesus in total pain, helping the women to focus on their children, to not loose them to the "world".
That even when Jesus stumbles or falls - as we all do - he showed that with his help and courage humans can accomplish ANYTHING it sets it's mind to.
Accepting help - looked for or unasked for (unneeded) as Jesus did, being humble, not arrogant.
The sinner on the left that gets to go to heaven for believing in the last few seconds of his life in Jesus Christ power, and how humble he is before Jesus.
The Sam Cooke song was written because of the crucifixion, the woman touching his cloak, or is that Ben-Hur family being cured in the shadow as Jesus passes, BOTH POWERFUL EXAMPLES OF HAVING FAITH.
How the guards and others came to believe that Jesus is GOD, as he died.
That even though fully human Jesus had the courage to control his free will and complete the plan that he and GOD (and the Holy Spirit) laid out - to save humanity from itself. (Instead of "doing whatever felt good" or "having it his way" or "taking the easy way" as most humans want.)
Looking ahead at our own death, and insuring our family is provided for , as Jesus did with his mother, and apostle - no one lives forever and we all should plan for the people we leave behind.

Well, when I was crucified in my past life...my mostest fave part was the chapping in of the nails...cos they chapped in time to the beats on my i-pod...and it made chapping the nails in my feet really hard as it was a toe-tappin tune...how I laughed and laughed...(?)...!
