... People said no start a conversation with her, but i feel embarrassed and go red when im near her. Also if i was to start a conversation how would i do it, and start it? Also i no aload of her friends but cannot speak to them about this.

Sure! It would be a great way to break the ice. It could also be the conversation starter. Just give her the card and tell her Merry Christmas. Then see what happens. She might strike up a conversation with you. Dont get too anxious about it. She is a regular person just like you. Just relax and talk to her as if you are chatting with an old friend.

You'll have to be able to talk to her at some point, so I think I might see where your friends are coming from...
But I disagree with them.
I think that if you do something you feel capable of to open the communication lines, then perhaps you'll feel more comfortable with a face to face conversation. But I would encourage you especially to keep some form of written conversation ongoing, even in a relationship, if it were to begin. It allows time for thought, and careful consideration of words said or being said. Slower forms of conversations, as in letters, helps you understand how each other's minds work... this will deepen your sympathy to her psyche, and allow for better dialogue between you two.
With that christmas card, you could open up worlds of opportunity.

i think that would be really cool if i got a card from a guy id never talked to.....as long as it/he wasnt really creepy. that is a good idea and just add in there something about wanting to get to know her or hang out more often. you could just drop it in her locker or something...go for it

i think that if i got a card froma boy i didnt know, itd be really sweet and thoughtful. just tell her how you feel, but in the long run, never write a note that you will regret in the future. good luck!

find her some where alone and start ur conversation with just saying whats ur name, how r u?, where r u going?, and so on.
