Maybe you wouldn't come across as a bigot if you didn't go into a screaming rant about "blasting" Mexicans who try to cross the boarder illegally.

well your tone denotes a bit "hostel". If that warrants bigotry..then perhaps that's it. But, I agree that illegal immi. should not be tolerated by any race (i.e. Mexican,Asian,African or?) Even immigration should be curtailed. I am not about killing people unless absolutely necessary in a life or death situation, but these people can and should be deported. I don't even feel we (Americans) should support jail time. To put the shoe on the other foot...ask the illegal and legal immi. can we come to their countries and get the same benefits they receive here and the same they feel they are entitled to? I have, and they say "no". I am not a bigot, prejudice or against any race, they all have their down sides (if you will) but this overpopulation of people that is now forcing Americans to learn a new languages and accept other customs is not right. We should have a choice, not have it forced upon us.

If you're smart, then you'd consider rewording the whole explanation behind your question, that's probably why you're called a bigot. First of all anyone who disagrees with your stance on illegal immigration is NOT ILLEGAL, especially since I disagree with your stance on this issue. Good news, I'm NOT ILLEGAL! I'm an American born citizen who doesn't support your stance and upon hearing the shite you and others who agree with your stance spew out of your pieholes here on an hourly, if not daily, basis has made me very proud to disagree with you.
While you may or may not be a bigot, you sure as hell are a total idiot who is also extremely ignorant.

Because we are supposed to be the most tolerate of countries, but the same people that are calling you a bigot I'm sure support something that would get them categorized as some form of "hater". I personally agree that illegals should be deported. I have several friends and co-workers who are immigrants. They came over LEGALLY. Pakastan, India, Canadian, Mexican, and Russian, they filed their papers and got permission to come to American and be productive citizens. Those who are illegals are using tax dollars to pay for their health care, education, section 8 housing. We have our own citizens that need it and an Illegal will sooner get it than that legal citizen. Feel welcome to come to the USA, please do it properly.

Maybe people call you a bigot because you are talking about shooting people who are mearly trying to make a better life for themselves and their families...just like your ancestors did when they came from wherever to the US.
One thing most people don't realize is that when people were immigrating to the US in the 16, 17 and 1800's...it was just a matter of signing a peace of paper that stated your names, occupations and countries of origin and "POOF" you were in.
Now...it's a bunch of paper work, medical exams, and money and even for the the best educated and well off people, it's still a bunch of red tape and a long wait.
Ease up and accept the fact that this nations was destroyed and rebuilt by immigrants.

big‧ot / Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[big-uht] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation
–noun a person who is utterly intolerant of any differing creed, belief, or opinion.
-kind of sounds like you
BTW While I don't support Illegal immigration they perform a necessary function. They do the things that most US citizens won't do.
Try arguing your point in an intelligent manner, maybe even know some facts and maybe people will listen to you

Think about how you are presenting your argument. You obviously feel strongly and you would enjoy changing even one person's mind. So instead of saying angry things like 'we should blast a couple' you should start a discussion on why you feel so the way you do.
What really happens when you come on too strong is that you sound like a zealot and people take you for a crackpot. Then they are less likely to listen to anyone who shares your same opinion. It hurts your cause.

I agree with you. I bet the man in Texas that lost his land to illegals would also agree. Illegals are ruining everything we worked hard for. My grandparents were immigrants, but they went through it the hard way. Illegals need to go home.

Implying that all illegal immigrants are Mexican is where you are a bigot, not your stance against illegal immigration.
