I think most of your answers have got it right.
But there is no way I would work behind a bar, (I admit I couldn't do it)
Some days I have got up in the morning and had 'flash backs' about my performance the previous evening in a bar, they are horrific. I just have a compulsion to go back to the same bar to see if I really was such a pr*tt, my behaviour has been mentioned by the bar staff but only in a friendly joking manner.
I certainly could not put up with the likes of me, bar staff are the salt of the earth, and earn every penny they get,.

In my experience, you get no more than minimum wage (5.05) in central and east london. Was part of the management team and was only on 13k a year for around 55hrs a week work. Shite money!

You should at least get minimum wage but anything above this is good. Around here we only expect to get around £5.75 for bar work.

In Ireland.... anywhere from €8 for lounge staff, around €12 for underqualified/inexperienced bar staff, and management, well you'd have to check. Why don't you call a few recruitment agencies who deal with catering/bar staff and ask what they would advise. Pose as a potential worker though or they might try to charge for their services.
