I guess it depends on where you live and the dentist you see. I live in ON. My mother just paid $125. Hope this helps.

It depends on where you live.
In my area, for a private pay patient, the charge varies between $70 and $140. But my dentist really tries to take it easy on people with no insurance.
The cost of the filling also varies depending on how large it is and how many surfaces (sides of the tooth) he has to work on.

In London most places charge for time spent, a simple white filling on a tooth probably takes around half an hour my surgery charges 120 pounds for this.

I just paid £68 for two small fillings but the examination & x-rays before that to check what needed doing was another £35
