I need to ask this differntly I'm not sleeping with my daughter's father. He would do the the sleep with me and leave thing when she was a baby but he has had lots of girlfriends and is almost 40 and I'm 28. He has a girlfriend now and I don't understand why he has acted like in the past he wanted to kind of date but he has had other serious girlfriends and doesn't want to work it out with me. I am attractive, have a good job,am fun why would he rather be with other girls than the mother of his child?

Age is a factor here probably. You want commitment and he doesn't want the responsibility. Move on with your life! Afterall, you said you have a good job, you're fun and attractive. Be independent or date others.

Maybe he just wants u to have his child and not have a relationship as that's what most men do. Here is what forget about him he gave the most important thing in the world your daughter go out and have fun he is probably thinking that u are the rebound girl and when he has nothing to do he calls let him go and make him know that u no longer want him and u will see the changes in him. Also carry your daughter to spend the night with him and say that u are going out and it will all fall into place. That's how men are and we women can only try to change them.

Because he is a guy, most of them are dogs and don't think with anything than the other head! He will grow up and learn one day, what a good thing he has missed out on. Don't wait for him, move on with your life, it does get easier. I was able to do it, I know that you can. Good Luck Hun!

Because you mean commitment and responsibility to him. Most men don't see it like you do - They see it as work, and if sleeping with you here and there keeps him from his obligation because it keeps you happy, he'll be fine with that for YEARS. Lemmie guess - he's not paying his child support on a normal basis or at all right? I must ba a mind reader.....

He knows your in to him and will be for a long time and he's not afraid to loose you because you have a baby together. Bottom line-he's not father or husband material but there are alot of great guys your missing out on while your wasting your time with him and he loves every bit of it.

Because he still wants to fool around. Don't allow him to use you!! Don't make it convenient for him. You and the daughter just need to stay way from him. If you're attractive go find someone who will appreciate you, your daughter and all that you have to offer. Believe me, those guys do exist.

goddess, all I can say is that men are brainless. They are willing to give up the best things that ever happened to them for some disgusting base habit or girl and then they can't figure out why we hate them so much.

he is a dumd a$$. you nedd to take care of your child and find someone that will be there for you both. he doesn't seem to be that person so find a good guy for you and your daughter. when I say a good guy I mean a man that will treat you and your daughter with love and respect.
