Sin means "without".
Without what?
Religions and an overall synopsis of the Bible would indicate that "Sin" means without God. Actually, I suppose it might mean without paying attention to God's advice.
What is God's advice?
Succinctly, it is:
Harmony is harmony.
Disharmony is the only sin against God.
Well, by that it really means, Disharmony is the only sin against God's advice or guidelines or message.
Now back to Adam and Eve's marriage relations.
I don't recall the marriage ceremony in the Bible.
However, alluding to the original sin. (Which has all kinds of wrong conotations)
So, let's call it what is was: original "without God"
Eureka: The original "without" (sin) was when Adam and Eve chose to disobey God and by logical consequence chose (indirectly) to live outside the Garden Laboratory - whoops the Bible translation calls it the Garden of Eden.
Only Church empires by pressuring translators of the Bible would have the audacity to define "sin" in such a way as to grow their empires at the expense of truth and logic.
conclusion: It was not the marriage, there was no marriage ceremony, it was the "apple" well not really it was the decision to decide on their own what was right and what was wrong. (See the original text did not simply call it the tree of knowledge, it was called the tree of discernment between good and evil)
God's whole personal desire was to give the hominids free will. When Adam and Eve chose to disobey and leave the Garden, God was elated. Why? Because it proved that his "free will" mutation he implanted in them had worked.
And, God said, "Holy mackarel, It worked!"

Purely, it is not a matter of the apple. It is plain disobedience in the belief that they will become wiser as they were told. And you are very right. Trying hard intellectuals or those opportunists have come up with a deeper interpretation to make themselves look smart and enable them capitalize on the ignorance of their subjects. It is not disobedience of God but Adam and Eve's disobedience to the command of God.

Who is saying that? I've always heard because of the disobedience of the forbidden fruit. If Adam & Eve had not sin, remember their command before they had fallen was to propagate which means they would have had sex but not in a prevert way.

The original Sin was disobedience to Gods command, them having sex was okay, but because of the sin God said that birth would now be a painful event.

You are absolutely right. I have never heard anyone say that Adam and Eve's marital relation was the original sin????!!!!! That makes no sense at all since they were married by GOD, And God says Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge. (Hebrews 13:4)

To eat the forbidden fruit was disobedience of God. I do not believe it was any sin..
The method of Holy Books (Quran,Bible,Torah,Zaboor) is not the method of story type.
The story about anything is not given at one place. The method is fragmented framework means the story about anything is given at several places. so do not relate this matter at one place only in your holy Book. try to find more....
it will show you marital relations are not the sin at all, neither taking a fruit.
Make the difference between Sin and Disobedience..........

Personally I've never heard anyone say that their relations were the original sin. In fact if they didn't have relations they would have been in violation of God's other command to be fruitful, so that would have been further sin.
