Yes! I dumped my ex (this was about 4 months ago) because of his friends; they were irritating jocks that ate like pigs, and always showed up uninvited at his house - and mine! They teased me a lot, which I was fine with at first, but after a week or so it began to seem really immature and irritating. For example, they'd ask me what color my underwear was, or if they could dye my hair blue. And the reason I dumped the guy; he never defended me! I went so far as to threated to poison a guys food, but there was nothing I could do - they knew I wasn't serious. Plus, when they were around, he'd act nearly as bad as them to show off, because he felt he had to act "macho" - not the perfect guy by any means.

What I do, regardless of a pal that has no thought i'm gay, whilst there is assorted female buddy drama is only remind myself that i'm removed from the area and not questioning with the little head. As to using gay as a derogatory term, i could factor out that there are assorted swear words they are able to apply. whilst I hate advocating violence, factor out that the subsequent time they use the term inappropriately, they're going to start up bobbing up bruises. Or prepare my mom's trick; she'll positioned her fist on my nostril and easily ask "definite? You have been asserting?" Which shows that if i do no longer make sparkling the assertion, i circulate to get a affected person's eye view of the emergency room. the two are fairly useful at putting forward that it is rude to apply particular words in one in all those way. I used a private term for "fool." in front of a pal who honestly replaced into that factor era. The bruise from his fist and the autumn made it look like i could been tattooed. I found out something; i'm allowed to think of issues, and would shop my frickin' mouth close. D

Yes. Not in my current relationship, but in previous ones. My ex-boyfriend cared more about his friends than he did about me.
I could be laying in the street bleeding to death and his best friend could be across the street with a friggin' hangnail. He would have left me to go get his friend some nail clippers.
We were going out to dinner one night to celebrate our 2nd anniversary. We were dressed up and going to a nice restuarant. He saw one of his friends walking down the road and he stopped the car and started chatting with him. He told his friend we were going out for dinner and HE ASKED HIM IF HE'D LIKE TO COME ALONG!! UGH!Fortunately, his friend was polite enough to turn down the invitation.

Yes, I think it's inevitable to at least have some difficulty with your partner's friends. In the past I have ended relationships because of their friends and because they were too dependent on their friends.

Yes, inevitably outsiders can influence/affect a relationship, but no one should be able to break up two people who really love each other.

My ex boyfriend's friends. My boyfriend and I got in a fight, and his buddies were always over. They would call me names, wouldn't let me talk to them. We ended up breaking up, they are a**holes.
