I'd say you should be able to tell within 6 Months wheather u'll survive all your live with that person or not. If u were ready to date, u were ready to be married and start a family! I knew my husband one day untill we kissed, 7 Months until he asked me to marry him, and were engaged 9 months (I was 17 1/2 at that time) We are happily married for 1 1/2 years now.
Whatever u do, do not sleep with him/her before u get married. That ruines the Relationsship for good. If u do, then u can just He/She won't even wanna Marry u anymore.
Believe me, that is not as much fun!!!!
If he never askes u to marry him, let him go, he's not ready. Or never will be. Age doesn't really matter!
Hope it was helpfull, Thanks!

I guess it depends on the people. My parents were together for like 4 months when they got married and they've been married for 27 years now. I've been with my boyfriend for a little over 2 years and he still hasn't popped the question. Every relationship is different.

Good question... Me and my boyfrined have been together for 8 years, and have a 16 month old. It's not really the question of when you should, but it's actually when your both comfortable enough to do so. And when both are ready for that major commitment in life. Everyone is different, and has different outlooks on this subject. Like in my situation, I just don't want to do that much of a permanent commitment. It's just not my thing. Don't get me wrong, we are together and probably always will be, just not something that I would do. Good luck with your life and situation!!

i got married at 23 after being with my now husband for 6 years. age is only a number i say.
the stats i think are that most people get married around 27 now. everyone is different though. if you feel too young to get married then don't get married. if you guys are in school (college) maybe wait to think things over when you get out of school. that is what my husband and i did. we got engaged at 18, got our schooling done, and planned the wedding and got married.

There isn't any magic number. My husband and I knew each other for a total of 6 months before we got married, we just celebrated our 4th anniversary. I know couples who have known each other a lot longer beforehand, but had shorter marriages. It really depends on the individual couple. Some people are just ready for marriage sooner, others take more time.

My fiance and I only knew each other by mutal friends in high school we never hung out or really talked that much but eight years later we ran across each other in Sept. and clicked he asked me to marry him two weeks later, and we are getting married in March. i believe you just know... I don't think there is a certain age limit... my sister got married at 18 my best friend got married when she was 20 and I am getting married at 24! So it all depends when you are ready or not....

My husband and I were together nine months before he popped the question, and were married a little less than a year later. We were both 21 when we were married. It totally depends on you and your partner, and where your are at in your life.

depends how old you are. If you are under 25, I would suggest not getting married. If it is true love, it will withstand the test of time. I think the ideal age to get married is after college and you are gainfully employed and ready to settle down. Some people get married and have fantasy expectations. This usually goes away with time and you will be ready for life's challenges when you are more mature.

I guess most people stay together for at least 18months and get to know each other better before marrying. Most guys get married in their early thirties while ladies love it in their Mid twenties. hope this helps u.
