Hmmm, not been taken seriously... ok for the first 50 members get free cloaks and hoods with strange gold symbols on them!

You need some kind of doctrine, something that will keep people happy (they shouldn't have to use their brains at all) and frighten the pants of them at the same time - believe in this or else kind of thing, suppose you can't use Hell need something original and quite frankly a bit more realistic than a hot place at the center of the World where you get tortured.
How about this - you are an alien abductee and the aliens have taught you that they are the masters of the Universe and pretty soon they are coming back to save everyone and take them off to the center of the cosmos for total enlightenment but anyone who doesn't join your Church (for a modest fee of ten thousand green ones) gets lazer beamed and so do all their relatives and friends whether they joined or not and it'll all be their fault etc.
That should start you off. Stick it all over the net, write some stories about the aliens and your abductee experiences and pretty soon you'll have Scientology quaking in its shoes.

First of all you have to name it after yourself. Then you have to buy some BIG collection plates with LONG handles so they can reach every seat. Then you have to make up some really cool law that your followers can do that you say is OK with God and still pleasing to their flesh, like having ten wives. At the end you pass the poison cool aide and everybody commits mass suicide and goes to heaven. Sound good to you?

Make some bizzarre prophecies. Outlaw specific kinds of behaviour. purchase a huge ranch someplace in usa exterior of the Bible belt. Create some non secular symbols. purchase a white limo to grant your self status. advance an astounding beard

Is it True? Today there are many different beliefs and which one is True? What is your roadmap? Is it the Bible? Who is your God? I'm tired of all this false junk that is around the globe and I wish people would get out the Book and read it for themselves!

make your religion able to back up anything, and deny anything. the bible can justify anything...
all your religion has to do is make no sense, be completely interprative, and claim it was inspired by the one true god. to be like other religions you might wanna form huge groups of believers and roam around killing non-believers.
