I had this last year. I was achy, feverish, throwing up but starving! The only thing that tasted good and that I could keep down was good ole Washington Red Delicious apples. Try it, have someone get you some... it maybe the only thing you can eat.

Is the pain in your back, or in your neck? If your neck is stiff, go to the doctor right away. Sounds like it could be meningitis, which is dangerous. I had very similar symptoms a few weeks ago, and it turned out to be a virus, but not meningitis. Good luck!

That depends on you. Sometimes when people are sick they will eat like there is no tomorrow. Your body is working overtime to get rid of the illness.

It depends. I've heard of people who had the flu but kept wanting something to eat - there was no loss of appetite.

Your question is, are those symptoms normal? No, fever and pain are not "normal".
