You may be confusing two different terms. Full Tilt is the name of a poker site. 'Tilt' is poker slang for when a player becomes emotional and starts to play incorrectly.

A player is said to be 'on tilt' often after experiencing a big loss or bad beat. They will then begin to play erratically out of frustration, perhaps in an effort to punish someone at the table or to win back money they have lost. Playing 'on tilt' is clearly a bad idea, since you are no longer playing your 'A' game.
