Dear Mexican Beaner: Of course, He is enough ! For the many who have such experience of The Holy Spirit's thoughts laid upon their hearts, and His Comfort and Guidance and have had direct experiences of Jesus, it is so very difficult to imagine that anyone can be sealed off from their souls or spirit-mind. It seems as if their Connection is totally severed.
Nevertheless, I have learned that in the great healing of the Separation and the Journey that puts us on the path to Return there is an appointed time that each and every soul has agreed to with the Holy Spirit - to begin that Return. Each age or each century of Time brings us a whole new influx of those willing to look Homeward Bound. Our Creator's Plan for our Return to the Kingdom is guaranteed. No brother will fail any other brothers in this. The physical world is a tired, old, and war weary experience of a type of reality that can be overcome by our Ultimate Reality. It is working at all times - this Plan of Return.
Until all brothers/sisters are experiencing the One-ness of our Beings and looking, in happiness, to Returning together as One - we will feel a certain bereft feeling inside ourselves. We miss our unity, our Oneness, as God Created us to be.
In the end, we will not fail each other. As spirit-minds or souls, we are spiritually oriented. Denial of this, or to be separated by interpretations in a multitude of Churches is a temporary loss of our unified Power within His beloved Kingdom.
Sincerely, Lana

You're absolutely right, there is no need of any kind for religions. Take the christian religion -- the entire basis of that religion is to convince you that are are a worthless "sinner," evil and disgusting, and the only thing that can "save" you from your evil self is god, jesus, and the religion. Why in the world do people believe this garbage? Do they *like* being told they're worthless piles of garbage? What is this need to be so debased and insulted?
There is no evidence of any kind that "god" or anything like it exists. There is also no evidence of any kind that there is a "soul" or anything like it. Come on people, it's the 21st century for crying out loud -- isn't it time humanity used its brains for thinking rather than believing ancient superstitious myths made up by hebrew shepherds so they'd have interesting stories to tell around their campfires? THINK!

There are many ideas on who and what God is. Some would say that God is part of everything, including our souls. Others would say that because of 'original sin' our souls were seperated from God, and that the sacrifice of Jesus was meant to provide a way to remove that seperation.
Religion is a formal gathering of seemingly complementary ideas, so that those who share those beliefs can come together and have fellowship with each other, united in the commonality of their beliefs and ideas on how best to worship. I believe It is "necessary" only in the sense that people tend to have more faith in their beliefs when others validate them; if you can find faith without religion, then you've done the important part.
(Some religions will teach that this cannot be done, and that if you don't follow what the religious leaders say you will only suceed in decieving yourself with a false faith. I tend to suspect them of trading in their own faith for power-mongering, much like those Jesus threw out of the temple.)

God is MORE than enough for me!!
2 Corinthians 12:9
But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.
-Hallelujah to the King!!
