HELP - Man dilema!?

Question

I met this guy at a party last night, one thing led to another and we ended up spending most of the evening together. We then went bar hoping and clubbing till the early hours and he invited me back to his for more drinking. We ended up sitting on his sofa chatting and holding hands till 5am and then he asked me to stay over promising to be a total gentleman. He was, we went straight to sleep I woke up with him holding me and he kissed me for the first time in the morning. He is off on holiday for 3/4 weeks today, but asked for my number when I left and said he would call me when he got back.

1) Is the fact he was a gentleman indicative of him liking me or not being interested
2) Is it likely he just asked for my number to be polite
3) Is the fact he said he was going to phone on his return good indication he is thinking of pursuing this or the polite brush off
4) If he was really interested would he not call or text from holiday.


Any other comments?

look he's man, and men don't think the way we do, so forget the calling and texting from holidays, if he's going away for such a long period then he really needs the break.. but he probably will contact u from abroad anyway and u'll be ecstatic!!!

and as far as i'm concerned he really like u... from what i've read, he was a gentlemen, he snuggled u all night, u talked for hours, he kissed u good morning.... what more could u ask for.... be happy enjoy it

i mean, he didn't have to! and there was no sex so u don't even have to feel dirty!! :) he has no reason to politely brush u off, he didn't have to spend the night with u before going away on holidays... accept it, not all men are Bast***s ok... and this one really seems to like u.. so wait and enjoy....

and even if it takes 3 weeks before u hear from him then enjoy the feeling of missing him and wanting him, it comes way to short in our culture these days.... one always has to be available...

If I didn't like a woman or was not interested in her then I certainly would not sleep with her - in a gentlemanly way or otherwise. Mind you, if I did sleep with a woman, as this chap has with you, then I wouldn't be able to hide my 'interest' at all, if you know what I mean! But therein lies the problem...maybe. Perhaps he is sexually shy or inexperienced and simply preferred the intimacy without the pressure of having to perform.
I think that you are worrying unnecessarily; give him a chance and I reckon he will call you.

As he is off on his holiday today he probably wants to be away to do as he pleases without any guilty feelings.. As others have said I am sure once he gets back from his hols and back to normality he will give you a call.. In the meanwhile you must just get on with your life (though I bet these 3/4 weeks will be the longest ever!!)

wow calm down i say. ur reading too much in to this!
from what you have said the guy likes you, and its very early days so it seems to me he wants to see you again when he gets back so he has asked for ur number. i dont think its just him being polite as he would not have acted the way he has ie nice to you. if ur lucky he might give you a call when his away. but get on with ur life, and i dare say this guy will give you a call when he gets bk, cant see any reason why he would not. :) hope tht helps

just wait and c if he's stil the same then obviously he really likes u but if he doesnt then u kno...
