I think I just stumbled on a large part of the conflict in this room.

Or I could ask it this way: 2) Is GW a follower of Christ?

(Hint: the above question is not the same as the question in the subject line. To put it another way, if I say that I'm the starting pitcher for the Yankees, does that make it so?)

3) What was Christ's fundamental teaching?

If I could ask, would you please indicate whether you are For or Against Christ along with your answers to 1) 2) and 3). I think it would be indicative.

Neither for, nor against.
1) no. preemtive war on a sovereign nation is the opposite of Jesus' teaching. not to mention internationally illegal.
2) no. i have mentioned in another post that GW doesn't believe in God, or at least his actions say so. He doesn't trust that God will protect him from death and so he relies on secret service and armored vehicles rather than his god.
3) Love the Lord your God with all your heart soul and mind, and the second is like it, Love your neighbour as yourself. Pretty self explanatory.

For Christ.
1-2) Who?
3) Christ taught that He was the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

The fundamental teaching of our Lord is forgiveness. the President is not following the teachings of Christ. As far as being a follower of Christ, it is my opinion that he is a pretender. I am a non-denominational preacher of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

I would say no.

The principal teaching was to care for the lowest among us. GW would step over the lowest in a NY minute.

Let us not be too hasty in judging others... for it is written:

"And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?..." --Matthew 7:3

Peace be with you.

In the aftermath of the obvious, if you have to ask, then it would be pointless to continue.
