Chicago Dawg....
Sesame seed bun, all beef hotdog, sweet pickle relish, chopped onion, kosher dill pickle spear, hot sports pepper, fresh tomato wedges, yellow mustard. My daughter serves these at her restaurant in Alabama.

She had to teach southerners that a dawg is good without ketchup. lol

Though I live in Nashville the best hotdog I have had is the Chicago dog. Mustard (no ketchup!!), sweet pickle relish, thinly sliced cucembers, tomatoe wedges, onions, and just a sprinkle of black pepper. It's the only way I eat hot dogs now. Oh, and the best hotdogs are the Hebrew National all beef franks.

Damn dude, you went and made me hungry!

I like mine with mustard because of the zing that you get. Ketchup is too sweet, relish sometimes, cheese usually no, and chili doesn't seem right.

My parents always talked about a place in California in the 50's that had the most wonderful hot dogs they ever ate. They were dressed with fresh tomato and onion.

I like making cheesy weinies. you take a hot dog cooked and slice it down thw middle and wrap it with cooked bacon and then put it in the oven for about 10 minutes on 350 mmmmmmm they are so good!!! You can try relish and mayonaise thats good too!!!.....Flo P.S. forgot to tell you to put the cheese in and then wrap with bacon. I use toothpicks to hold the bacon on until cheese is melted.
