Evolution is still considered a theory. Creating something from nothing sounds impossible, but with God all things are possible. In order for evolution to have taken place there had to have been a beginning. God is the Beginning and the End, the Alpha and Omega.

Evolution!! Evolution is not a theory it is a fact!
The similarities between modern man and early hominoids are irrefutable. We share the same bone and joint structures, bipedalism, and dentition (teeth). The tooth pattern and placement are exactly the same. The Y-5 tooth pattern found on fossil molars is the same pattern humans have today. Making it highly unlikely that it is just coincidence and that “The Theory of Evolution” is true. Our genetic link to the great apes has already been illustrated by Ken R. Miller and associates. We share a common ancestor. Apes have 48 chromosomes and humans have 46 chromosomes. Within our genetic make-up is a fused pair of primate chromosomes which accounts for the difference. The genetic marker is on Human chromosome number 2, site base 114,455,823 to 114,455,838, (Ken Miller). I really don't know how anyone could go to a museum and look at early homonids and not see the resemblance and similarities. People and animals are evolving all the time.
Perhaps the most basic reason for not believing in God and creationism is the absence of good reasons for doing so.Once an individual gets past the bias in favor of belief they may realize something critical: the burden of support lies with those claiming that belief is rational and/or necessary. Believers fall short of meeting this burden and thus fail to provide quality reasons to accept their claims. As a consequence, those who don't already believe in God and/or who are not biased in favor of believing in God aren't given a reason to start.
Sorry this was so long but hopefully it will help you and inform others.

"The Adam and Eve tale cannot be squared with the evidence from genetics, anthropology, or any of several other scientific disciplines. As for evolution, it is now a proven fact."
Uhh, first off No it isn't.
Second: There is currenty NO proof of anything factual of evolution. If evolution is so true, where are the people that are half man and half ape? OR whatever they're supposed to be? That would be proof...but there is none!
I believe in Adam and Eve, 1) Because I'm Christian, and the Bible is factual and 2) Because every time someone tries to disprove the Bible, they end up proving it right.
Soo.......

Yes definitely the theory of evolution is more realistic, people believe in Adam and Eve only because it is written in the Bible.

I am not offended by it but i would advise you to watch this:

Please do some depth research before you say yes or no to wether is was Adam and Eve or not. Why? Because the 2 largest religions in the world beleive this if you can prove there is not Adam and Eve them approx 3 billion people will change faith.

Evolution isn't a theory. There is no debate when it comes to the scientific community. You can witness evolution every year.
If you think it's impossible, don't line up for a flue vaccine every year, because if evolution didn't exist then the flue would remain the same and never change.
Not to mention hundreds of years of the development of the science of geology.

Neither is scientificially proven, however, I would argue that the evidence is greatly in favor of intelligent design and a one man one woman beginning. Some of the best evidence is mitochondrial DNA. For those who aren't familiar Mitochondria are a part of a cell that produces energy, they containt their own DNA. This DNA is passed down maternally, this makes it possible to track maternal lineage very easilly. To date, all studies of mitochondrial DNA have indicated a single common female anscestor, Eve if you will. This is ofcourse not entirely conclusive, but it is VERY significant and strongly in favor of a single human pair yielding the entire human race. You might ask, "why does one woman mean one man?" it doesn't, however, mammals generally have a high female-to-male ratio that would make many male and one female very strange. Now, if we accept for argument's sake that there was only one many and one woman then the issue of incest creating horrific gene disorders becomes an issue, this strongly suggests that they must have had originally perfect DNA which further indicates intelligent design. Another problem with "macroevolution" ie one species becoming a different one. Is that the second law of thermodynamics states that this is completely impossible. The second law of thermodynamics states that energy, and more recently data systems such as DNA, become decreasingly useful or more corrupt. It is not possible for DNA to become more advanced over time do to random chance. Also, paying more attention to DNA, science had yet to explain the irreducibly complex nature of DNA. DNA is an absoloute necessity for a cell to be able to reproduce, but a cell can't exist without DNA. This is paradoxical. Another issue is time, the Earth simply isn't old enough for evolution as it is taught to have occurred. Then there is the fossil record, is should be filled with transitional life species, and yet they are exceedingly rare. So rare in fact that the ones that do exist are easilly explained away by mistakes such as Piltdown man and, was it brontosaurus that turned out to be fake? I can't remember which long neck dinosaur it was. Biochemistry is another subject that I have recently found to have interesting anti-evolution evidence. So called "related species" that appear physically similar and indeed are, have radically different biochemistry. For instance pigs and sharks have more similar insulin than carp and sharks. I haven't studied that particular are very closely, but it too strongly suggests that evolution as it is currently believed cannot be true. Finally, I would point out that a complete theory does not begin with the biological on earth, but at the beginning of the universe. Evolution explains this with the big bang and intelligent design with God. Both of these are causeless causes, neither is possible according to natural law and so we must all take a leap of faith to accept either theory.

Lets think for a moment=
Have you ever been to a zoo? Have you seen any apes turning into a man? Do you know anyone who has? They have been studying them for a long time, even living with them, and not a single case of evolving from ape to man.
And you say that Darwin was BRIGHTER than GOD? Surely you jest.
If man evolved by =survival of the fittest= Then why did the giant reptiles die off? Were they not more fit than other life forms?
You may believe as you like, but for me I will stake my eternity on the word of GOD,
Proven by hundreds of prophesies, historic places and events recorded, witnessed by many many who were there at various times, during these events.
Science has claimed cities never existed that much later were found exactly where the bible said they would be.
Otherwise I must have gigantic faith to believe theories that prove to be wrong, fraud, and outright lies. No thank you, for me and my household we accept Jesus as Lord. Won't you?

I find the Adam origin is more realistic and explain a lot of things regarding our current situation.
Not to mentioned the event experienced by Noah would explain on why our population is at the low amount of 6.500.000.000 instead a trillion times of that or more.
