we had a rocky break up. and i know that he still cares. i found out that i had cancer and i told him and he wants to be supportive but he is afraid to show affection. what do i do he wants us to work but not rite now. and rite now i want him to help me through this, but i making him mad by not giving him his space. HELP

Clearly he's making it known that he doesn't want to continue a relationship with you and that's unfortunate because he could at least be a friend to assist you with this ordeal. Honey chalk it up as a loss and focus your energies on you because you are the most important factor here along with your illness because you don't need the added stresses. Tell him bye-bye and concentrate on you. Trust me it's not easy but you'll win in the end.

Move on, friend. He wants out and is just trying to be nice by saying "I want it to work, but later." He is lying through his teeth. Break it off for real and get healed emotionally. If you keep pursuing him, you will only get hurt more.
I am very sorry about your health and that this guy left you in the middle of all this. You can beat this thing! Hang in there!

i think he should support you trought this bad time of your life that's a relationship for that's what you do when you love someone right now he is not saying i love you troughout his action i dont thinkl you are doing anything bad by asking him to be with you trought this time
