I was able to use Microsoft Outlook then one day I got an error message saying I am missing a .dll link that involved Mcafee? I unistalled the Mcafee that was on my computer because it expired as did my Office XP that came on my computer. So what do you think happened?

Might have been a virus that mcafee detected and deleted the file. Reinstall outlook

McAfee probably installs a DLL add-on for Outlook so it can scan emails for viruses (Symantec does this). Something must of happened to that DLL so when Outlook runs it tries to load that DLL but can't.

I uninstalled McAfee in the "Add or Remove Programs". After that It seemed liked I'd been hijacked.

Uninstalling does not get rid of it. They have lots of hidden files that need to be deleted also. If you can find the list of all of your files and delete anything that has their name in it, you will finally be rid of all of it.
