I am not very forward when it comes to meeting women. They either think I'm taken or that I don't like them.
I really a great catch (as I've heard from many female friends) .
So...How can I let women know I am single and interested without seeming desperate or h0rny?

Hmmm....I can help I think. After all, being gay is as close to being a lady as you can get. Women love confidence, but not too much. Let her know that you are sure of yourself, but don't be cocky. A smile and eye contact go a long way. Remember, chivalry is NOT dead. Open doors for her. I mean, obviously, you can't walk around with a sign that says "I'M SINGLE" on it, but you can drop hints in the conversation. The best thing I can say is this, don't try to hard. Just be yourself.

When they compliment you. Say yeah, now all I need is a woman by my side and tell them people always think you have someone in your life. That will start things off with the ones that comment. For the others, compliment them on something and say I'm single and i'm not a dog or anything I just wanted to compliment you on your looks, shoes, hair, etc.

just smile first and have a eye contact if a girl looks at you just look back and maybe smile a little if she keeps checking you out and smiles back just approach her. like if your in a bar i would see whats she is drinking and ask her if she wants a drink if at a coffe shop ask her to buy her coffee

Seems to me you need to be alittle more aggressive in your approach. Be sociable and pleasant and let the women know that you are available.

I really like it when a guy just talks to me and tries to get to know me. I never thinks he's horny or desperate if he tries to get to know me first and then ask for her number and ask her out. it's simple.
