... what does religion (or the lack of it) have to do with politics?

I know Americans have demonized communism but not everything about communism is bad. Communism is just extreme.

The Christians have demonized Atheism too. So are you trying to cause trouble by saying that Atheism is related to communism in some way?

It's just like everyone else.

Religion is the antithesis to Democracy, btw. And everyone believes things differently. No two people are the same.

For example, I'm Wiccan yet I hold the ideals of a Democratic Socialism. Other people will see things differently.

Atheism means nothing else but not to believe in God. It doesn't say anything about the ethical or political convictions of a person.
And no, I don't believe in the benefits of communism. History has shown that it hasn't brought any good.

I am a capitalist and a conservative. So not even a little.

Communism believes in the benefits of atheism, not necessarily the other way around. It does increase the percentages a lot though.

the nearest element to a earnings to come back from communism often is the quick secularisation of many communist international places although the techniques used to attempt this are not agreeable, the sustainability is questionable (although seems truly respectable) and the monetary regulations were really stupid. usually communism became a foul element, although the relief in non secular ability is a small aspect earnings.

What benefits? If you mean no religion, the answer would be NO! No one wants to deny another person's right to believe what feels right to them. You don't want to deny an atheist that right, do you?

Unlike religion, (that believes that it should be involved in everything like politics), atheists don't need to include their belief system with politics.

Personally, no. Sounds good on paper, but cannot be applied in real life because people are naturally greedy.

Some do, some don't. I don't think the two are closely related.
