How to boil an egg?
Prick a hole in the round end of the shell to avoid bursts during boiling. Place the egg in a pan of cold water and some salt. This way you bring it to the boil gradually. Take the eggs out of the boiling water when ready and rinse under a cold tap. The cold stops the cooking process and stops discoloration on the edge of the egg.
Boiling times:
Count the time from the moment the egg begins to boil.

3 minutes: very lightly boiled (yolk is still runny)
4 minutes: soft boiled
5 minutes: semi-soft boiled
8-10 minutes: hard boiled

Some tips:
- Take the eggs out of the fridge 30 minutes to attain room temperature before boiling.

- Make sure eggs are completely submerged.

- Turn the egg over after boiling for one minute: this will ensure that the yolk stays in the middle.
Brown or white eggs:
It is often thought that brown eggs are more nourishing and tastier than white. This is just not true. They are of the same quality; the only difference is the type of chicken. The colour of the yolk can differ but that is related to the feed.

Put cold eggs in cold water (water should cover the eggs by aa minimum of 1 inch) with a pinch of salt - starting them out cold reduces the risk of cracking. Add a pinch of salt (perhaps as much as 1/4 teaspoon) to the water - in case one does crack, it will keep the white from running out everywhere.

Bring water to a full boil (big bubbles everywhere). Boil for two minutes, then cover and remove from heat. Let set off heat for 20 minutes. Rinse eggs in cold water until they can be handled and peal.

There you have great hard boiled eggs. Every time.

This is foolproof.

Add eggs to water. Bring to boil. turn off heat and cover. when water is cool, they will be perfectly hard boiled. Remember, freshest eggs are more difficult to peel so use that carton with
the older expiration date.
It works!

it changes from place to place according to how tall the place where you live is placed, I mean the closest to the sea level the quickest it is done, but usually in 10 minutes it is done.
