ummmm ZER0 C00L I have a friend who is Muslim, my sister is now formally an Atheist but while she was practicing Atheism I didn't push her away I loved her that much harder, and to be honest I don't know any Pagans but, if I did I would love and accept them as well. I love and obey God which means I am to love his people even you.... It doesn't matter what your religion or what you believe we are all his children there is only ONE GOD and no other stands beside him!

Restrictions? No, if we were best friends we would have a mutual respect for one another and our beliefs. In hopes that in the end we would still be friends when the truth is shown. God Bless and have a good day....

No restrictions. Only Muslims are allowed by the Koran to hate everyone that is non Muslim and can never be a Best friend with a nonbeliever. It is also justified to lie to a nonbeliever.

Yes a Christian can be best friends with anybody. No restrictions. Christians are to love all people, which does not mean to love their wrong behavior.

Well, my definition of a best friend would be someone that supports me and helps me in my life and vice versa. From there, if we don't have the same beliefs, our ideas of help and support will be different. My faith is very important in my everyday life. I like to bounce ideas off my friends. I would want to be able to trust my best friend's opinion. If they have a different set of beliefs, I couldn't trust that their answer.

For example, a pagan friend might encourage me to go out and sleep with boyfriends, while a Christian friend would remind me that the Bible calls that a sin. A best friend has to be of like mind.

I have no problem being friends with any other person, but my best friend would have to be the same as me.

I really don't know. They could be kind and polite, though. I respect the Muslim faith and I am a Christian. I don't know any pagans, and I don't know any professed athiests I look forward to the time we can all be friends.

No, true christians are not allowed to befriend anyone but christians. Muslims, on the other hand, are told in the Quran that closest in friendship next to a muslim will be christians. Here are verses for both claims.

"Do not be deceived: 'Evil company corrupts good habits.'" (1 Corinthians 15:33, NKJ)

"He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will be destroyed." (Proverbs 13:20, NKJ)

"Make no friendship with an angry man, and with a furious man do not go, Lest you learn his ways and set a snare for your soul." (Proverbs 22:24-25, NKJ)

"Do not enter the path of the wicked, and do not walk in the way of evil. Avoid it, do not travel on it; turn away from it and pass on." (Proverbs 4:14-15, NKJ)

Allah says in Surah 5, verse 82:

*{…and you will certainly find the nearest in friendship to those who believe [to be] those who say: “We are Christians,” because amongst these are men devoted to learning and men who have renounced the world, and they are not arrogant.}*

They can be best friends with whoever they want. However, in 2 Corinthians 6:14 God does address this issue (cf. Ps. 106:28; God, in the Law-Old Testament- forbid Israelites to intertwine physically).

I teach my students that it would be wise to have close friends who are believers who can help them in their faith...I do this because of 2 Cor. 6:14 & in view of what happened to Israel in the Old Testament & still today.
