No, after we nuked them and conquered them we forced them to re-write their constitution. They are not allowed to have an offensive army and America is the guarantor of their safety.

I believe there already has been a war between us. Perhaps you heard about it. World War II!
Seriously though there are several reasons why this will not happen again.
1) Japan has a defense force not a military
2) Japanese markets and economy are extremely dependent on US dollars.
3) Japan does not have abundant resources and lacks the military manufacturing capability to keep pace with the US war machine at full capacity
4) Japan is not a nuclear state and stands to date as the only country to be nuked by another power. I do not think they will ever be in a hurry to challenge the possibly of this happening again.
5) Japan and the US are long standing good faith allies

Doubtful. We are very close allies now, the US has military bases in Japan, and the Japanese self-defense force is tiny compared to the US military. They would have to start a MASSIVE military buildup before they'd even think about going to war with anybody.

THEIR ALREADY WAS A WAR WITH JAPAN . WE WHIPPED ON THEM EVEN NUKED THEM TWICE . THEY LOST THE WAR AND THEY LIVE A LIFE OF VAST FREEDOM AS A RESULT OF THE NUKING. MAYBE WE SHOULD USE JAPAN AS AN EXAMPLE FOR NUKING IRAN OR N. KOREA. LOOK HOW NICELY THEY DID AFTER BEING NUKED YOU TOO CAN BE NUKED AND TURN AROUND TO A GLORIOUS FUTURE.

Yes. The day that Japan exposes a threat. But who cares right now? Unless you're planning you make bombs incase it's in the near future or something. Maybe you could be a terrorist. Who knows? Yea.

Well, there was a war. We won it. And I doubt very much that Japan wants to go thru that again. Most likey it will be us defending Japan against N. Korea.
