I need to lose weight, but I'm still young so I don't want to go overboard and make it to extreme, something I can't stick to.plz give me your opinion whether this sounds healthy and if not could you give me some suggestions.
For breakfast I would have: oatmeal prepared with 1/2 cup milk, and 1 cup fruit or cold cereal with 1/2 cup milk, 1 piece of wheat toast with 1 tbsp peanut butter, 1/2 cup fruit or 2 egg whites, 1 piece wheat toast with jam, and 1/2 cup fruit for lunch I would have: 2 small bakes potatoes with 1 tbsp sour cream, and 1 cup fruit or a salad with various veggies on lettuce and 1 tbsp dressing, and a small egg roll.for a snack I would have fruit, veggies, crackers and fat-free salami,or a granola bar and dinner I don't have much control over because my mom cooks, but I would just have 1serving of whatever she makes. And for another snack, I would give myself one treat a day.Nothing too bad, just a small bowl of buttered popcorn or a chai latte.
I will run a mile a day.Tnx

By the way I will be drinking 1% milk, not whole, and I only eat fresh or dried fruits, not canned. Thanks for all your answers.

If you follow that meal plan and exercise everyday (you don't want to run everyday, your body will get used to it and you won't see the benefits as much) you should lose at least 1.5 pounds a week.

The key to dieting is to make good changes in your lifestyle that help support and reinforce your changing eating habits. Don't give yourself an excuse about why you couldn't follow your meal plan or couldn't get your exercise in for the day.

It is balanced, but may be too low in calories and general nutrition. The lunch portion is great though. Try adding maybe a piece of toast to breakfast, and another food item to dinner. Too little calories can lead to slow metabolism, which means weight gain even if you're on a diet still. Work out too, it speeds things along, and is good for you even if you're not overweight.:)

You have made a great plan and you will reach you goal if you stick with your plan. Watch out for the calorie content in the dinner your mother cooks. If you are fully grown you only need 15 times your body weight calories/day. Like, if you weigh 120 lbs. you only need 1800 calories a day. I would gradually increase the running distance and aim for 15 to 20 miles a week in another year. Instead of running every day you will get a much better workout if you skip rope every three days. And you should give your self one day a week rest.

Way too high in the fats and starches. If your serious about losing weight, sub skim milk, hold bread of any kind to two slices per meal only, no form of sugar, no sour cream; dressing or canned fruit. Fruit or raw vegetables for snacks. No processed meat. All flesh served baked, boiled or broiled w/o sauces or gravies.

the best thing to go by and be healthy is to follow the food guide pyramid. and with running a mile everyday you will loose weight. you have to really watch portions, a serving is much smaller than what you might think.

though, your diet sounds OK

It seems like you are eating healthy...but you'll not loose any weight if you eat this much unless you are overweight. I eat about half of what you have listed here every day and I'm still not under weight.
