I have straight hair but I need some tips on how to make it sleek and shiny.Mine is kind of poofy.

Try the Pantene ICE SHINE and get a ceramic straightener, its the only thing that works for my girl sara!

A hair and scalp nourishing shampoo will be of help for any kind of hair problem.. The hair may not be the reason why it is poofy, frizzy, dry, etc.. It may have come from the scalp.. once the scalp is damaged it will soon affect and destroy the standard of one's hair.. so better yet try using scalp nourishing shampooes or treatments.. In that manner you'll be able to satisfy both the health of you scalp and hair which will cause you greater relief... and probably prevent the same incident from penetrating your well-treated hair if maintained..

I have the same problem you do the only thing i can do to mine to get it really really straight and shine is load it down with conditioner in the shower, then i blow dry it and use a straightener just to get the ends straight. i have tries a lot of things and this is the best so far. good luck i hope this will work for you!

you should use a lightweight serum, put a little on while wet and blow dry straight and then smooth about a dime size amount on your ends, paul mitchells "super skinny serum" is awesome!!
