Is it the orthodox or completed Jews? Or do both of them wear them?

What significance do they have?

I know I didn't call the cap by its proper name, I wasn't sure what it is called other than a 'skull cap'. Forgive me if this is taken as in insult.

Orthodox Jews are ones that strictly follow the Old Testament books. They believe Jesus Christ has yet to come.

Completed Jews believe Jesus has already come and read the entire Bible.

It's called a Kippot, not a skullcap, and they wear it for many reasons. Some do it to indentify themselves as jews, some to accept a mitzvah, to recognize that g-d is above us, and others.

All types of jewish men wear kippot. Married Jewish Women wear something similar in the synagogue.

EDIT: Most jews do not believe in Jesus. You are probably a Messianic Jew, which is like christianity.

The Orthodox Jews wear the caps, it is not worn by western Orth Jews.
Messianic Jews do wear the caps at special occasions there such as the 7 feasts but are not liked that much by the Orhtodox Jews and so many of them stay at home at 7 feasts.

Haha I've never heard anyone else call them Jew caps. My husband says it either just stays if you have a certain head shape or you can use Jew paste lol.

Both the completed and the orthodox Jews wear these caps, because it is a sign of their religous custom even though they are not practicing the religion faithfully.

It's called a yarmulke, and it's worn because Jews are supposed to cover their heads in reverence to God. Religious Jews wear them, though all Jewish men wear them when they go to Temple.
