Write it yourself and send it in the mail with no return address on it. Be creative and put something special inside that looks like its from the North Pole. One year, I left a note from SAnta to my little sister and I read it to her on x-mas morning. She was thrilled Santa left her a letter. The look on her face is one I will never forget :)

Children usually don't look at post marks. Contact a relative and tell them what you want to do. Send them the letter and have them send it to the child. Not free just cost of postage.
