It's only racist if ya want it to be...Im white.....I don't have a problem with a black calling me honky, or whitey. I'm ok with that....I don't have a problem being white. If you are black and you have a problem with that , then I could see where you might get offended if someone called you black. And that applies to any race....

I'm sorry, but I think you are naive to the fact that 70% of illegals come from Mexico. Yes, there is racism against every race in this country. But when someone says illegal immigrant, you shouldn't consider that a racist term. You by far are the most naive Liberal I have ever run into on this site. My girlfriend's best friend is Liberal, and she once told me that this country would be a better place if communism was allowed. You probably agree with her on that issue as well, don't you? Go back to hiding in you fantasy world and continue to ***** and moan about the rreality of things you see or hear that upset you. Let the rest of us deal with the real problems this country has.

Good question.
My guess is that Mexican Americans have yet for their Rosa Parks and Marthin Luther King, Jr's to come to the forefront of the public's view to force the masses to have to confront their consciences concerning these matters which have been mostly latent and have only come to the surface in covert ways - for the most part.
Exterminating racism is like any other moral issue. Legislation cannot change a person's heart. And it's only in an individual's heart that true change and true equality can come.

I agree with some of what yo are saying, but keep in mind that on a higher percentage, most illegals are from Mexico. When you look at our borders, Canada and Mexico, where is the most amount of illegals coming from, and why. And one more thing, the INS has only two listings for their illegals. 1-Mexican / 2-OTM (other than Mexican).

It is due to our government. We all of a sudden have an immigration problem? Heck we have had it for the longest time.
Think of it, being a muslim can be a touchy thing now a days, but is there as much emphisis placed on them? Why did't the US gather up all the muslims after 9/11 and place them in camps, as the did the Japanese back after Pearl Harbor?

Because we (Americans) have been taught since infancy that it is wrong to discriminate against blacks or Indians (native Americans) since in the history of America they were treated very badly. Well I don't think that these people took it to mean "be nice to all, regardless of race, but more specifically to these 2 groups. Just ignore them, they are wasted people.
