You have presented a couple of symptoms which indicate Migraine Syndrome..(more than one symptom). You may be experiencing an acute stage of a chronic problem. Aggravated by the transitional period you are going through as a result of postural changes. The different center of balance, now that you don't have a protruding tummy.

There are two things you need to consider. One (which your doctor didn't tell you) is to make sure you get your tail bone back down. It becomes elevated as you made the postural changes to accommodate the tummy being extended outward during pregnancy. If you concentrate on this now (getting that tail back down), you will save yourself a lot of back problems later on.

The other problem is easily detected just by pressing at the base of the skull. You will find it quite tender on one side. Should this be the finding, you will be suffering from an inflammatory process of the cranial nerves. In this particular instance, is having a dramatic effect on the optic nerve. This condition is best treated after the symptoms are reduced to sub-acute. This would be a routine condition, treated by a doctor of Chiropractic.

The headaches and blurred vision you suffer from are symptoms of post-partum depression and they typically start one week after child birth. Though these problems are not supposed to be severe, you may want to get a professional opinion from your physician.

I know this is an old question but thought I'd chime in for anyone searching for answers too. Sounds like high blood pressure. A headache that won't go away, you can hear your heartbeat in your ears, a brain fog, and dizziness can all be signs of high blood pressure. Get a blood pressure machine and check it or go to the ER because if its high enough (normal being 125/80) you can get a stroke.

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information

I had headaches and blurred vision and found that something was wrong with the Pitutary gland. You might want to see a Neuroligist for this as he could answer the questions for you.

Hmm- Well, when I was in school one of my teachers had a baby, And apparently something had gone wrong with her blood pressure during the birth- at least, that's what we were told. You should see your doctor about this.

Good luck!

I had the same thing and it was migraine headaches. I had them after three of my children. I would contact the Dr though just in case.
