A load of shite but that is the politicians for you. As long as they get their bonus for sitting around saying 'hear, hear!' they don't really care.

I read this today and I am disgusted.

Our lads are fighting in impossibly hard conditions with sod all resources, and the good old Government says there will be no bonus payments made because of a "misinterpretation" of the rules!! Pillocks!!

The finest fighting force in the world, and we cant even equip them for the job properly, or pay them a paltry £3000!!!

Im sure they are all going to have a great Christmas thanks to Mr. Blair.

The £3000 was the maximum pay-out, and that was for Officers, the average payout was £1.16 per day.

I was so disgusted when reading this that I am actually thinking of taking it slightly further than Yahoo!

I might start a petition to the Government.

Who is with me?

Too many wars are fought in order to make politicians show they are tough though some are worth it. It is pretty sad when those politicians forget about their original promises. Either way, the lads in uniform always pay the price.
