The record for most career first round knockouts is held by Young Otto. Otto whose real name is Arthur Susskind, is generally credited with 42 first-round KOs but boxrec.com. easily the best and most accurate boxing site shows him to have 43. Otto fought from 1903 to 1924. Stunningly, 15 of those opening round knockouts came in consecutive fashion over a six month period in 1905!! Thats truly amazing.
