This is so backwards, but she doesn't want anything too serious (or so she says, at least not yet) b/c she figures I am too good for her. Now I know what you all think, and I have thought the same thing, but I am now convinced she is the first persin to ever say that and mean it. I am as sure as I can be. So, any suggestions for getting her over this? It's ridiculous, really, but I want her to realize how much I want HER w/out overdoing it. How do I convince/help her let go of this BS idea she has?

Do you know about her past? Did she have any bad breakups or anything? I've done the same thing. I had a string of bad relationships, and it has frightened me to death about getting back in to one. She may not be emotionally ready to let u in. If this is the case, just give her time and space, but let her know you are not going anywhere. What is your past like, and does she know about it? She could be intimidated by you based on your history, or the history of girls you may have gone out with. You really need to talk to her, and tell her how you feel plain and simple. If she wants to be insecure, let her be insecure because she is having a huge problem being that way during a relationship. You need to let her go and move on with your life, because her behavior is ridiculous and why be with someone who can't trust you?

Time for the tough-love act.........the next time she says that u r to good for her, tell her this........ur right, i am to good for you, i tried to love you and u keep pushing me away....i don't care what other men have done to you in ur past..but, i'm not them and don't care to be compared to them, thank you...so when u decided to get over whatever u r going through..call me, i might still be available for you.....until then, i'm not putting my life on hold anymore. goodluck..it's ur choice to make.......then turn around and walk off..i bet she calls u soon.............................goodluck 2u...
