Cop gave me the tickets for no reason, I am 17 and drive loud *** Mustang GT that is red. My actions did not even closely remote getting a reckless driving. My court date is 1/8/07.

Probably not. I've head the the highway patrol in California likes their applicants to have had a few speeding tickets because it shows they're not afraid of driving fast.

The reckless driving on your record is a felony, and police officers cannot have felonies.

Generally, No. Unless you recieve a felony, you are probably OK. Be sure not to lie about it though on the Application form and Don't lie about it on the Polygraph Test when they give it to you. while the infraction will not disqualify you, Lying about it will!

if it is a felony, yes it will be a problem. Felons can't carry fire arms. Sorry dude.
