It varies.Call around & check it out in advance,,maybe you can find a discount seeing that its for 5 days.I used to stay in a little motel in Larchmont that is off of route1. It was called Larchmont Inn I think.It was reasonable & safe.Altho that is if you are taking your own veicle because it is a few miles out of Manhatten.

my girlfriend left for new york yesterday and is staying for five nights.she is staying in Manhatten in a hostel for women.it will cost her approx 130$ at the most.unless you are looking for luxary and got the money that would be my answer
