Abuse.

It depends.

I am 220. I can easily drink 2 drinks an hour and half before I get into car.

I can have 3 - 4 drinks 3 hours before.

Especially while eating with the drinking.

But forget the one for the road.

However, to answer your question: for me, it is just having a drink with my friends.

Everybody else needs to lighten up.

I dont support drunk driving, but the law is not an ***. Know your self and know how alcohol works. The law recognizes that you can have some drinking, just not drunk.

The law needs to take away my sirius radio and my cellphone - the causes of my last two accidents, as well as old people with bad vision and reflexes. I havent had any DWI or accidents as a result of my responsible drinking.

Also, leave the bar well before closing time to avoid the drunks on the road. You may be able to control yourself, but you cannot control others.

Abuse because the person is drinking unresponsibly.
Dependence--if they weren't dependent than they would consider the consequences more carefully.
Addicted--as it is almost the same thing as being dependent.
Tolerence has nothing to do with being irresponsible about drinking and irresponsible about driving.

Definitely abuse and irresponsible behavior.

Dependence would be the person would HAVE to take drink BEFORE they drive.

TOLERANCE means they'd have to DRINK so much before they could drive

ADDICTION means they could not drive without IT..

Extreme stupidity and selfishness. One of the girls I went to school with lost both her parents when a drunk driver crashed into them. But from your list, abuse - I think the other 3 are more signs of alcoholism.

I would have to say none of the above, but if I had to choose one it would be abuse

Lack of responsibility and lack of respect for themselves and others.
If it has to be from the above list, abuse.
