I think that God is both. I think that he is a man and a woman. He made people in his image. If we are all made from his image - though some may argue that Adam was made in his image and Eve from Adam ( Eve taken from Adam would also be in God's image...follow the thought process) - then he would have to be a higher being. One of both genders, separating them into two for the purpose of carrying on the human race. Now, as to why I referred to God as a He, it is simply proper grammar, and easier - and more correct - than he/she.

The Biblical description of God is of course a man. God made man in his own image. If he made man in his own image he looked like man anyway. Of course I am Atheist and would know little about God as I don't believe in one. Kisses Betty.

P.S. If God has no gender why did he make all those fine female Angels to gather around and admire him? Reference please Book chapter and paragraph in the Holy Book where it says he has no gender? I'm not doubting you I just like proof when people make what are supposed to be factual statements. Kisses Betty

Neither - John 4:23, 24. God is a spirit.

GOD is neither. Jesus said, "God is spirit, and his worshiper must worship in spirit and in truth." John 4:24 (NIV) But as Jesus was a man and He is also GOD then GOD must be male.
But in a way that is not understood this side of heaven.
