Right now it's very windy and raining intermittently out here. I would pack the normal summer things that you would think of when you think "Hawaii", but I would also pack:
- Jacket/Sweater (They don't need to be too thick)
- Umbrella (You really don't want to buy one in Waikiki it's really expensive)
- Slippers (you might know them as flip flops, but you can buy a cute pair out here and keep them as souvenirs)
-A nice evening outfit, there are some high class(ish) restaurants out here that you might want to go to.
-Jeans & jean shorts for outings
-Sunglasses
Also, bring a lot of money to buy clothes. Half of the fun is buying clothes while you're on a trip. If you want authentic Aloha shirts, I recommend Hilo Hattie's.

The weather is perfect in Honolulu in December! It's not too hot, but nowhere near cold, either. Bring shorts and a t-shirt and enjoy the beach. Also bring a small jacket if you hate getting a little damp. It sprinkles a little every single night. Hawaii's an awesome place to be in December!

Some loose clothing. Dresses, shorts, t-shirts, a few dress outfits for dining out. The coldest it gets in Honolulu is 70 degrees at night. Oh! Don't forget the swim wear & flip flops.

Hawaii is about 80-85 degrees everyday, so get something for warm weather. Hawaiians are very casual so skip the formal wear and too-dressy garb. Maybe nice pants if you want to go to a nightclub, but nothing to fancy.
Aloha

The weather starts to get cooler & rainier in late November through February or March. In general, the temperature should be in the low 80's during the day & dipping into the high 60's at night. It sometimes will rain steadily for several days, but it is much more likely to be nice or at worst to sprinkle intermittently. We call them "pineapple showers". In the winter, you will want to scuba dive on the south shore, as the big surf will be on the north shore. Hanauma Bay is good on Oahu. Ten days should be enough, esp. if you are just doing one island. You can do two in 10 days, but don't try for 3. You will waste too much time at airports.

Aloha,
It will be 70-85 every day without being hot or sticky. Dress as you would for a nice summer day, and bring a light jacket for evening.
www.hawaii.com gives you information on each island including the weather and a suggested packing list!
have a great time!

I live on the windward side, where it's a bit cooler... last nite it got to 66 degrees late at nite.. honolulu is usually a lil warmer.. so maybe just 1 pair of jeans (just in case) & lots of tanks or dresses... i rarely wear any long sleeves or jeans..just capri's..
Make sure you visit Kaliua & Kaneohe over here... & you can't miss
Nor shore....people get disappointed if they just stay in waikiki & Honolulu........ it;s not tropical there.. you HAVE to see the whole island!
Aloha & congradualtions
