Promise Ring?

Question

Today I ask my girlfriend what would she like for Christmas and she called me and said a promise ring. So how should I go about this? I do love her and want to be with her. I have never thought about a promise ring. I just thought about marriage then getting her a ring, but I was very happy to hear her tell me that's what you wanted. So could any of you ladies or guys help me out on the price ring, setting etc... I will spend as much money on her as need to just let her know how much I love her and want to be with her. Its not the price of the ring that matters....unless she is really high maitenence... Just pick out something in your price rance that she will like. When my hubby proposed, he did it with a small $100 ring from Wal-Mart, but I loved it because it was from HIM and because of what it meant. We bought a new set when we got married, because he had saved up some money while he was in Iraq, but I would've been perfectly happy to wear the other ring for the rest of my life. Trust me, she will love WHATEVER you pick out, as long as it means as much to you as it does to her...

So will you be getting a promise ring or an engagement ring?
A promise ring will cost you about $200 or so... If you get a descent one; also depends on what she likes; stone (diamond, emerald, ruby) and metal (gold, silver, platinum)...etc...

dont go too crazy on price get her a nice ring but in the inside write something nice like i promise to love you forever or something related is the details that count

then forget a little ole promise ring...If money doesnt matter, go to the jewelry store and get a PRINCESS CUT diamond ring, and propose. She will LOVE it!
